Mission
We are researching methods, methodologies, and tools for the development of ontologies and semantic annotation. This includes all kinds of ontology engineering, ranging from hierarchically organized development teams to open, collaborative approaches. For semantic annotation, we consider various types of content: text, multimedia, and web services. Another research focus of this group is the human contribution in all processes of semantic content creation.
